COVID-19: Important information for your stay at our hotel

Ladies and gentlemen,
dear guests,

We take your safety and well-being, as well as the one of our employees, as our utmost priority; therefore we have implemented and adhere to the highest standards of safety, hygiene and disinfection to address COVID-19 in collaboration with international medical experts and following the recommendations of the Robert-Koch Institute and the current Corona ordinance of the federal state of Hessen. Please note that the federal regulations are subject to constant change, therefore all information on this website is without guarantee. We try to keep the information as up-to-date as possible.

An overview of our measures to ensure the safety of our guests and employees in the different hotel areas:


General

 

Who is authorised to stay at our hotel?

Guests travelling for private reasons must present valid proof of vaccination or recovery upon check-in.

Guests travelling for business reasons must present either valid proof of vaccination or recovery, or a negative test certificate no older than 24 hours. Retesting is required every 24 hours.

 

Where are the closest test stations?

  • Leipziger Straße 164, 34123 Kassel: approx. 15 minutes (1.4 km) on foot
  • Leipziger Straße 195, 34123 Kassel: approx. 20 minutes (1.6 km) on foot
  • Mauerstraße 11, 34123 Kassel: approx. 1 hours (4.5 km) on foot or 5 stops by bus

Is the wearing of a mask mandatory in the hotel?

Yes, it is mandatory to wear a surgical mask at all times in all public hotel areas.

 

Further measures taken by the hotel:

  • Disinfectant dispensers are available in all public hotel areas like reception, lobby and entrances to the meeting rooms.
  • Our hygiene measures are signposted and there are markings to keep the minimum safety distance and the walking direction in the restaurant area.
  • Public areas are cleaned and disinfected with increased frequency.
  • Access to lifts and meeting rooms is limited to a certain number of people. For more information, please refer to the on-site signage.
  • For the protection of guests and employees, the front desk is fitted with plexiglass panes.
  • A strict hygiene concept is in place for banquet rooms, the restaurant and hotel rooms.

Gastronomy

Hotel guests must present proof of vaccination or recovery to access the restaurant; external guests must additionally present a negative test certificate no older than 24 hours or a booster vaccination certificate.

Breakfast

We currently offer an extended continental breakfast or a box to go.

  • selection of bread and bread rolls

  • cold cuts
  • cheese
  • jams
  • fruit
  • fruit juices
  • coffee or tea
  • scrambled eggs
  • boiled eggs
  • bacon
  • different mueslis
  • milk
  • different yoghurts

Breakfast is served between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. No table bookings required. Please order a breakfast box in advance at the front desk.

 

Dinner

Please note that the restaurant, the summer terrace and the bar remain closed until further notice.

 

Room service

Due to the current situation we do not offer room service until further notice.

 

Half board

Unfortunately we do not offer half board at this time.


Wellness & Fitness

 

Pool and sauna

Our swimming pool and sauna are open again for our overnight guests. External visitors do not have access at the moment.

 

Gym

The gym is open again for our overnight guests. External visitors do not have access at the moment.
